Together for the Gospel 2018

Esteban recently had the enormous privilege of attending the Together For the Gospel (T4G) conference in Louisville, KY. A conference designed to serve pastors through many sessions and panels, as well as providing mountains of free books that help build their library in order to aid their teaching and preaching as well as inform their own hearts and minds. Esteban was invited by pastor Bill Abernathy of Berean Baptist Church in Portage, Michigan, and traveled with fellow missionary friend Jon McGinnis.

Esteban was really excited to get to hear live and in person the great theologians that he has so loved learning from through books. He got to greet a couple of his favorites up close and personally!!

After the conference he and Jon drove up to Michigan to spend the weekend with the brothers and sisters in Christ at Berean. Esteban was able to share with both the youth group and in the Sunday evening service about Seeds of Life, the ministry here in Costa Rica, and what God has been doing.

What a blessing to enjoy a week of fellowship with other brothers in Christ who are serving the same Lord and Savior, working towards the same goal of advancing the Kingdom of God, and fighting to defend the Gospel in a fallen world. Esteban came home encouraged and excited to put into practice what he learned and saw on this trip.

The kids and I missed him while he was gone, but are very thankful for these opportunities for learning and growth, as well as being able to share in ministry elsewhere too!
